The end of the year is always a highlight for our team as we reflect, grow and give back to the communities that we love. We enjoy seeing all of our offices come together for our Christmas is for Kids (C4K) program, which is always a peak of the year for Shorewest. The smiling faces of all the children at this event are the main reason why we do this year after year. Their joy provides an unmatched feeling of excitement for the holidays that our team members love to see each December. In 2024, we moved this event to a new location; the Embassy Suites in Brookfield. The team there was extraordinarily helpful and we are grateful to everyone who worked tirelessly alongside Shorewest to ensure C4K ran smoothly. We would like to thank all of the businesses and groups who donated resources to make this event possible as well. Through the generosity of Embassy Suites, Hartfest, HD Supply, Bluemound Express and Mondelez International Inc, we were able to provide a fantastic day to the children of Southeastern Wisconsin.
Wisconsin saw growth in the total number of homes sold this year, with roughly 3,000 more homes sold in October, November and December than we had in the previous year in quarter 4. Home sales were also up for the year for Southeastern Wisconsin, with an increase of around 500 total homes sold. This is a great sign of market regulation and we are proud to have been a part of it. Our team members have worked tirelessly this year to ensure that home buyers and sellers have not only a smooth real estate transaction, but a fully successful one as well and it is truly a beautiful thing when those efforts pay off.
