Empty Bowls celebrates its 14th year in Milwaukee this Saturday, October 13 from 10:30am-2pm. The event will once again be held at the MATC-Oak Creek campus. Local potters as well as children have taken the time over the past year to hand-create over 2000 bowls that participants can choose from at the event.
With the purchase of a bowl, each person has the opportunity to sample a wide variety of soups from restaurants throughout Milwaukee including Horny Goat Hideaway, Le Reve, Maxie’s Southern Comfort, and Sanford. Check out a full list of restaurants and soups to view the delicious offerings at this year’s event. Breads are also available from a variety of bakeries and restaurants.
Adult bowls are $20 and Kid bowls are $10, and all of the money raised goes to support area hunger-related charities. Since 1999, Empty Bowls Milwaukee has raised over $410,000 to feed the hungry around Milwaukee. Please consider attending this important and delicious event this weekend!
